We’re excited to announce that the full Ad Studio platform is open and ready for business in both Mexico and Spain for all advertisers. These two markets join the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, after a successful run as test markets. While this won’t change anything about your Ad Studio experience, we hope you’ll see this launch as further confirmation of Spotify’s continued investment and belief in our self-serve advertising tools.
Both Mexico and Spain are poised for streaming audio success, creating a big opportunity for advertisers — particularly for those looking to reach a young, mobile audience. In fact, 95% of internet users ages 16-24 and 88% of internet users ages 25-34 stream digital audio in Mexico,¹ while 91% of Gen Z internet users and 78% of millennial internet users in Spain listen to streaming digital audio.² Plus, we know that Spotify listeners around the globe stream 2.5 hours on average in a given day. If advertisers aren’t getting their message out on streaming audio in these markets, they're missing out on crucial moments in consumers’ day.
