How to use Ad Studio’s new audio revision tools

Not feeling your ad’s audio? It’s never been easier to remix it.

Spotify Ad Studio helps you easily create audio ads from scratch, letting you customize your ad’s sound with our creative tools and services. Now, with our new set of audio revision tools, you have even more creative control over your audio ads. From volume levels to background tracks, quickly remix a high-quality audio ad that’ll be music to your listeners’ ears.

How it works

The new revision tools are available to anyone who creates an audio ad with our creative tools and services. Within 24-48 hours of requesting your audio ad creative, you’ll receive an email notification that your audio ad is ready for review. Here’s what to do next.

  • Open the email and hit review to be taken to the ad details page for your campaign (which you can also navigate to from the menu on the left).
  • Choose revise from the dropdown menu, prompting a window to appear that will ask whether you want to make changes to your voiceover clip — like picking a new voice actor or giving new direction on tone or emphasis — or your background music & mixing.
  • Pick background music & mixing to launch our audio revision tools, and get ready to have some fun!

Change the background track

Not feeling the vibe of your background track? Change it up by selecting a new song from our library of licensed music by independent artists, available at no cost to you.

Play around with the timing

Change the timing of when your voiceover comes in or choose a different section of the background track. The drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to try out options.

Dial the volume up (or down)

Increase or decrease the volume of your background track with a simple slider.

Listen to your work

Finally, sit back, relax, and appreciate your work! Compare your original audio to the remixed version to make sure it sounds perfect.

Audio ads are a powerful way to spread the word about your business or music on Spotify – and with Ad Studio, you have the creative control to get your sound just right.
