Took the Stage: Best Stage Experience

Channel 4, Streamland

Spotify and Channel 4 collaborated to create Channel 4 Streamland—an interactive, in-app experience, which generated personalised show recommendations for Spotify users based on their listening habits. The campaign ran for six months alongside audio ads that included podcast host-read ads across popular shows like Jaackmaate, and voice overs from two emerging artists, Mira May and Mae Stephens, in an influencer-led approach backed by Spotify’s 2023 Culture Next report.

As part of the collaboration, the Gen Z talents promoted the experience across their social channels.

Ear Candy: Best Immersive Audio

Electronic Arts, EA SPORTS FC 24

EA partnered with Spotify to launch their new game, EA SPORTS FC 24, using an immersive audio-driven approach. The campaign utilised Spotify's personalised playlists and 8D audio assets to create a game-like experience. This campaign also made EA the first brand to run Spotify Blend playlists globally. EA SPORTS FC and Partner Club Chelsea FC gave users the chance to merge their music tastes with three different 1st team players.

Made Us Look: Best Creative Video

Hyundai UK, New Dawn

Hyundai wanted to usher in a new dawn with a humorous campaign that played on the anglicised pronunciations of the brand name in the UK ( Hy-un-dai), versus the global pronunciation which reflected the brand’s Korean heritage. Spotify users were the perfect match and the brand was able to pinpoint their audience even further with Spotify’s suite of targeting capabilities, reaching those actively in-market for a new car, as well as EV intenders and existing Hyundai owners. Hyundai leveraged Spotify’s non-skippable, audio-on Video Takeover format to deliver a memorable and creative video ad campaign with impact.
