Reach and engage users with display ads
Create moments of connection through visual storytelling, served only when your audience is viewing the Spotify app. Get started with display ads on Spotify today.
Why Spotify display ads
Display ads open up new opportunities to connect with your audience—without disrupting their listening experience.
A richer media mix
Enhance your creative strategy further by complementing audio and video formats with display—and reach your audience in different moments and activities throughout their day.
Front and center
Deliver messaging when fans are looking at the app–via our Now Playing View (NPV) and Browse (or Search) screen.
Budget-proof
Make your creative assets work harder. Upload existing images to quickly build impactful display ads that reinforce your visual themes.
In-Feed Display: Spotify Ads Manager and Direct
There are two places display ads can appear. In the Spotify Player, ads are served two seconds after the listener enters the Now Playing View (NPV), when they are streaming music content and the app is in view. The creative will appear in a 1x1 container where the album art was previously. The ad will persist until the listener dismisses the ad, leaves the NPV, skips to another song, or exits the app.
The second placement is the Browse (or Search) screen, where listeners are actively exploring content.
In-Feed and Leaderboard Display via Spotify Ad Exchange
On Spotify Ad Exchange, In-Feed Display ads appear in the same places as they do in Ads Manager and Direct, and you can exclusively access Leaderboard placements. On the Browse (Search) screen, there are no separate text fields for advertiser name, tagline, or logo, and Javascript is not supported. We recommend embedding your logo, brand name, and/or tagline directly into the creative.
Leaderboard ads, which are only available on the Spotify Ad Exchange, appear on the Browse or Search screens as users use Spotify on their desktop.
